Simply put, I just really enjoy the atmosphere of this place. The crowd is mixed and there are a lot of regulars which always indicates that the place is worth visiting in my opinion. The choice of beers on tap is excellent. With respect to pub grub, the quality of the food is better than a number of pubs I've visited. The bartenders and other staff members have always been extremely pleasant and positive. That feels great after a long day at work. During the week, it's not too busy but on weekends it can be packed. That's okay. Good places have big crowds. I especially enjoyed this place during the week when a friend and I want to catch up. It's a very relaxed atmosphere.

Second time we were here..service was really good. Had the pretzel for appetizer and I had the steak sandwich which was really good however was a little disappointed that there was an “up charge” to add cheese to my sandwich. Hubby had the Kilkenny chicken and he would order again, however the gravy was way too thick and gloppy.

We stopped in tonight (Friday) for dinner and got seated at a table on the bar. The table had a tacky film on it, most likely from whatever cleaner was used to wipe it down. Our server seemed distracted and not very friendly...when she brought our appetizer she spilled some of the marinara sauce on the table. She said she'd come back to wipe it up but never did. Another server brought our entrees. We asked her for another set of silverware (there was only one set on the table), some ketchup, and some extra napkins. She brought us a stack of napkins...and another plate. We clarified, and she came back (it took a couple of minutes) with what we needed. The ketchup bottle was sticky. Our original server stopped by after one bite and asked if everything was ok. Then we didn't see her until we were done eating, and we had to flag her down for the check and a to-go container. (The food was OK. Nothing spectacular.) Since I had a gift certificate saved on my phone, I went up to the cashier (not sure if that's the proper term) to apply it to our bill and I went back to our table while she made the adjustment. A few minutes later, the couple at the table next to us handed us our bill portfolio - with our debit card inside. They said a "young kid, like a busboy" GAVE THEM OUR BILL AND DEBIT CARD. UNACCEPTABLE. Don't think we'll be back.

The food is exceptional! A wide variety of menu should appeal to all tastes. The bar area is fun, but the restaurant area is more quiet. The staff has always been too rate!
